He has more than 25 years of experience in business development, strategic planning and international markets. He has held various Management positions at companies like Werfen Group, Menarini Diagnostics and Biomedal, and he is currently Managing Partner at Connectem Healthcare Business Consulting.
Dr. Andrés Da Silva
Chief Scientific Officer
Dr. Andrés Da Silva is a researcher with a background in Biotechnology, a master’s degree in Neurosciences, and a PhD in Biology (Cum Laude) from the University of Santiago de Compostela. He has worked at prestigious institutions such as the University of California and Harvard, specializing in microfluidics, nanomedicine, and cell biology applied to preclinical models. He has contributed to national and international research projects with several high impact publications, strengthening his scientific profile. Currently, he is the Chief Scientific Officer at BFlow, leading R&D projects and establishing strategic collaborations with industry and academia. His expertise bridges fundamental research with industrial applications of clinical and commercial impact.

Andrea Balsa

Andrea has studied a degree in biology at the University of A Coruña and continued her training with a master’s degree in biomedical research at the same university.
She did her master thesis in the neuroscience and motor control group where she worked on animal behaviour analysis and she has completed her studies with additional bioinformatics training.
She has experience in molecular and cellular biology techniques acquired during stays at the Functional Nanobiomaterials group at CINBIO and the Experimental Neurology of Parkinson’s Disease at CIMUS.

María Victoria Ruiz Persia is a finance and accounting professional with over 15 years of experience in corporate accounting, auditing, and financial planning. She has worked in leading companies such as PWC, Walmart, and Telecom Argentina, where she has specialized in financial analysis and corporate finance.
She is responsible for supervising financial planning, budgeting & forecasting, managing financial reporting, analyzing financial data for strategic decision-making and cash flow optimization.

She received the Young Scientific Award by the Royal Academy of Sciences for Galicia by her work in the fabrication of preclinical devices by laser technologies for the study of cardiovascular pathologies. Research Interests: Laser fabrication, material processing with laser, microfluidics, preclinical devices and fluid devices.
