Dr. Andrés Da Silva

Dr. Andrés Da Silva is a researcher with a background in Biotechnology, a master’s degree in Neurosciences, and a PhD in Biology (Cum Laude) from the University of Santiago de Compostela. He has worked at prestigious institutions such as the University of California and Harvard, specializing in microfluidics, nanomedicine, and cell biology applied to preclinical models. Andrea has studied a degree in biology at the University of A Coruña and continued her training with a master’s degree in biomedical research at the same university.
She did her master thesis in the neuroscience and motor control group where she worked on animal behaviour analysis and she has completed her studies with additional bioinformatics training.
She has experience in molecular and cellular biology techniques acquired during stays at the Functional Nanobiomaterials group at CINBIO and the Experimental Neurology of Parkinson’s Disease at CIMUS.
